Hey folks. I'm looking for new hardier lettuce varieties for my winter garden next year. Only one of this years testers made it through the winter... Winter Marvel. Any suggestions for lettuce that can survive below 25 degrees?

Re: Hardy lettuce varieties?
Sat, February 7, 2009 - 6:32 PMdid you try Jericho (romaine)?
I don't know exactly what temp it went down to, but it seemed quite hardy, and definately made it through some good hard frosts here in VT last year. Might not have been 25 degrees, but if you haven't tried it, it would be worth a try.
Jericho also stays sweet in the heat, which is always nice.
