Personally I'm happy that the natural health product industry is being regulated - just as any other commercial industry that makes health claims for their products should be. Big Vita and the supplement industry (which promotes getting nutrition from unnatural - non-food - sources) have been literally getting away with murder. This won't prevent people from growing their own herbal remedies if they so choose. It will give some protection to consumers which is sorely needed. Any ethical supplement company (some of which are owned by Big Pharma actually, most of whom get their vitamins directly from Big Pharma manufacturers) won't have an issue with proper testing or the contents of the bottles being the same as what they're promising on the label.

Grow your own food or subscribe to an organic farm then there's no need for expensive, often ineffective and sometimes dangerous supplements that pretend to be a natural way to get nutrition. And which are made in big polluting factories, not grown by your local medicine woman.
