on our farm the first of the harvest is asparugas i planted 4-5 years ago.,some green giant.,and purple giant--my favorite--And its just starting up now.,the harvest has begun---lettuce begin--Chomp-Chomp

Mon, May 18, 2009 - 1:27 PMMy favorite way to eat Asparagus is lightly stir fried with a gingery sauce, over brown rice. When it's just seared a little but still crisp. YUM! I'm totally jealous. Being a poor apartment dwelling college student, I've never lived in one place long enough to start an asparagus bed. Sigh... Some day.
